Rouge Hills Project, 2023

Introducing our Rouge Hills major renovation project! We’re incredibly grateful for our amazing clients, who trusted us to transform their cramped bungalow into a stunning, spacious home. Our team completed a major renovation, including a second-story addition that added three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full laundry room. Three skylights were installed, filling the home with beautiful natural light. The primary bedroom features large patio doors that open onto a balcony, and even boasts a Japanese toilet for ultimate comfort and convenience.

Inside, the home is truly breathtaking. Open riser oak stairs with glass railings create a sense of grandeur and sophistication. The main floor is open concept, featuring a full bedroom and an office that can easily be converted into another bedroom. The mudroom is a beautiful addition, providing practicality and style. And the oversized kitchen island is an absolute showstopper, providing ample space for cooking, eating, and entertaining.

But perhaps the most impressive feature of this home is the mechanical system. The house is heated by infloor radiant heat, which creates a comfortable and balanced temperature throughout the entire home. The air handler is installed in the attic to ensure that the air is also balanced, as cold air naturally sinks while hot air rises.

Outside, the home is just as stunning. The exterior features a beautiful combination of red brick and grey composite siding, with black-on-black windows that make a bold statement. The massive 20-foot patio doors at the back of the house provide an incredible indoor-outdoor connection. And we can’t forget the floating covered porch with cedar soffits, and the rear cedar deck that are perfect for outdoor living.
